Policy Content Coding System
The original US Policy Agendas Project compiled a definitive topic codebook for its policy content coding framework, which created major topic codes for the principal aspects of public policy, such as the economy, education and health, and sub-codes within each of these categories covering the specific focus of policy-making.
The UK Policy Agendas Project has generated a national version of the US Policy Agendas Project codebook, which retains the original categories but uses UK examples to aid the user. This reports UK-specific examples or clarifications in blue text (as additions to the original US codebook), while new sub-topics (e.g. fisheries) are presented in green text.
